Qury Fire Educational Bus Tour

Join local fire professionals for a free guided bus tour of areas impacted by the Qury Fire.

This educational tour will highlight how Firewise and other mitigation actions helped protect homes and structures as the fire moved through the area. Experts from South Dakota Wildland Fire and the U.S. Forest Service will share insights on:

• Fire ecology
• Fire behavior
• Steps landowners can take to reduce wildfire risk
