2026 Burning Beetle Learning Event in Custer, SD

The Custer County Conservation District is co-hosting the 2026 Burning Beetle Learning Event in Custer, on Thursday, January 15, at 6:30 PM.

The event is titled “Living in Community in Our Forested Environment” and will be held at the Pine Room in the Custer County Courthouse Annex (447 Crook St). Speakers will cover topics on history and photography of the last pine beetle epidemic, preparing your home and property for fire, and wildlife in the Black Hills.

Coffee and cookies will be provided.
