The West River Soil Health School will be hosted at Dry Creek Farm and Ranch near Caputa, SD. This operation is owned and operated by SD Soil Health Coalition Board Member Shawn Freeland and his wife, Kristy. They run a diversified crop and livestock operation following the five principles of soil health to regenerate the land while providing for their family.

The West River Soil Health School is designed for agricultural producers as well as anyone with an interest in learning how to manage soils for resiliency and profit. This course will feature regenerative land management practices in action on a working farm and ranch, along with presentations from conservation professionals and producers experienced in regenerative land management practices.
