The South Dakota Drought Plan (“Pray for Rain. Plan for Drought.”) was developed by ranchers with support from USDA-NRCS and SDSU Extension. It offers practical, site-specific drought planning resources, including decision-making tools, drought monitoring guides, and mentorship opportunities.
