Dakota Conservation Network

Founded in 2023, Dakota Conservation Network (DCN) serves as South Dakota's hub for conservation resources, connecting communities with the tools they need to protect and preserve our natural landscapes. Whether you're a farmer, rancher, landowner, or simply passionate about making a positive impact, DCN provides resources to help you achieve your conservation goals.
The network is dedicated to promoting locally led conservation initiatives that empower individuals and organizations across South Dakota. With a wide range of resources and tools available, users can effectively address their unique conservation needs.

Understanding the concerns of stakeholders is the first step of putting a plan together – and the most important. The people in this office are your local experts on conservation planning and programming.
